Hi Brian,
I would like to take a few minutes to send you this note about how pleased I am with our new on-line quoting system. If you remember a year ago in January 2004 we met to discuss the possibility of an on line live interactive program that would allow hundreds of dealers and reps access to on line quoting. At that time I really doubted that it could be done to the level that I imagined. I felt that my concept, however poorly laid out would, fall short of my expectations. I appologize for my doubts, this system that you, Kiley (and I’m sure others) have given me exceeded even my hopes and aspirations. Our Rep Organizations through out the world, along with all of their dealers and distributors now have access to instant and accurate pricing. Our catalog budget of 2003 was $ 150,000.00 and would have increased in 2004 is now reduced to less than $25,000.00 and will drop to less than $10,000.00 by next year.
In addition to what “Arctica Access” has given the Reps and dealers, along with cost savings to the company has been fantastic. Now some of the ideas being discussed that would expand “Arctica Access” into being our service and warranty control program will enable us to increase our penetration and service through out our entire network. It couldn’t have happened with out you and your staff's vision, tenacity and ability to understand what people are actually asking for.
